About the Author
Writing that inspires, encourages and shares personal tips in order to bring balance, increased happiness and peace into your life.
My love for writing has been a constant throughout my life. Writing stories, poetry, and journaling has been a part of my life since I was a little girl. The first story I ever wrote was about a young flower's life in the garden with her family, and it's still vivid in my memory. I was only seven years old.

I've always had a knack for writing and found great joy in sharing my life experiences in an effort to help others navigate their own journey. As an educator for more than twenty years, I've had a passion for guiding and empowering my students to communicate through writing. Throughout that time, I privately wrote, keeping my aspirations and desires to myself.
A few years ago, I reached a point where I couldn't ignore my passion any longer. The quiet voice within me grew louder, urging me to pursue my dream. Writing for others, with the goal of encouraging and inspiring, has become a reality for me at last.
I write about ups and downs, happiness, heartbreak and learning how to find peace throughout my own journey in this crazy life. My first published book, was about my daughter, Faith. The children's book, Have a Little Faith, tells the story of a young girl with Down syndrome who finds happiness in the same activities as other typical children. The book is honest about the challenges she encounters and reassures readers that, despite these daily obstacles, she is no different from anyone else. It inspires all kids to have self-belief.
In September 2022, my adult non-fiction book, Raising Faith: The Ups and Downs of Raising a Child with Down Syndrome, was released to offer support and education to parents, family members, and teachers. For anyone who appreciates tales of triumph, resilience, and inner peace, this book is a must-read.

Most recently, I've crafted my third manuscript, The Red Quarters, which pays tribute to my father and how his integrity shaped me into the person I am today. This book delves into themes of love, grief, belief, and the pursuit of inner peace following the pain of losing a parent.
I have two blogs: "Believe in Your Best Life" and "Life with Faith", and dabble in the podcast world with my own interviews and personal take on life called "Jersey Gina's Gift of Gab".
Despite the difficulties of balancing family, teaching, and writing, I'm grateful to have the opportunity to share my words with the world.
